Cox & Box (2007)

Cox & Box by Arthur Sullivan & F.C. Burnand, a three-man one-act comic opera

Sergeant Bouncer, a landlord, attempts to get double the rent for his apartment by leasing to Mr. Cox who works during the day, and Mr. Box. who works at night. His plan is spoiled when Cox's employer gives him the day off, and the two accidentally meet. After initial disgust, they begin to discover other startling similarities between themselves, including their taste in women, their affinity for gambling, and, of course, their familial relation to one another.

Presented at free Theatre On The Lawn, Wednesday, July 18, 7:30 p.m.
