G. Stephen Stokes

G. Stephen Stokes Nemorino is Stephen’s debut with VLOC. He is a graduate of Catholic University’s School of Music and currently a grateful student of Chrissellene Petropoulos. Professional appearances include Tamino (The Magic Flute), Jose (Carmen), Camille (Merry Widow), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Count Homonay (Gypsy Baron), Nanki-Poo (Mikado). Other favorite roles include Tom Rakewell (Rakes Progress), Romeo (Romeo et Juliet), Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus). He sings with Washington National Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Washington Concert Opera, Opera Theater of Northern Virginia, Washington Savoyards, Opera Theater Southern Maryland among others. He has been a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists since 1980.
