John Day

John Day (Nemorino) sang the role of Alexis in VLOC’s first production of The Sorcercer. More recently John appeared as Camille in The Washington Savoyards’ production of The Merry Widow. Last season he sang Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail for Opera in the Heights (Houston, TX). His credits include Rodolfo in La Boheme, Lionel in Martha, Alfredo in La Traviata, Duca in Rigoletto, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte , Leicester in Maria Stuarda, Nanki-Poo in Mikado, Frederic in Pirates of Penzance, Tommy and Charlie in Brigadoon, Archie in The Secret Garden, and Richard Henry Lee in 1776. John is happy to return to VLOC after some time away.
