John Turner

John Turner, tenor, sang in 2007 productions of Carmen with In Series, in Lucia with Opera Bel Cantanti, in Tosca with Summer Opera Theater, and in Tabernera with Zarzuela DiSi. He has appeared in several character roles including Gastone in Traviata, Monastatos in Magic Flute, Lope in Barberillo di Lavipies, as well as many opera ensembles. His solo appearances have recently included Mozart's Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Faure's Requiem, and the 2007 Cherry Blossom Festival Concert. John sings in the professional quartet at St. Mary's Church in Washington DC.
