Monica Szabo

Mezzo Soprano Monica Szabo was last seen with VLOC as Marie in 2007's concert production of John Philip Sousa's Desiree. Other roles range from Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus to Nancy in Albert Herring to Sesto in Giulio Cesare. Ms. Szabo has also sung in Art Song recitals in the United States and abroad, most recently in Austria and Costa Rica. She holds music degress from Towson University and The Catholic University of America and is a teacher of future musicians and music lovers in the Kindermusik program at MD Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis.
