Join a company of villainous bandits as they attempt to pull off their greatest heist yet - robbing a wealthy Prince of his riches. But, in a society where inequality runs rampant are we sure we know who the true villains are?

Having been captured by the bandits, Fragoletto, a young farmer, quickly falls in love with the daughter of the group's leader. To prove himself he becomes part of the conspiracy to rob the Prince of Mantua of his riches by kidnapping his wife. Things quickly go awry and it's up to Fragoletto to set things right.

This production of Offenbach's comic operetta has been translated into English by W.S. Gilbert. This translation ably maintains the humor and gravitas of the original French setting.

Revolution, romance, mutiny, and betrayal are woven throughout this classic 1928 operetta set in 18th-century New Orleans.

Robert, a French aristocrat and revolutionary flees France and settles in New Orleans by selling himself into servitude to a wealthy landowner. He falls in love with the owner's beautiful daughter, Marianne, but due to his circumstances cannot tell her who he really is.

Hunted by a French detective, Robert is eventually captured and put abord a ship, The New Moon, to be returned to France. Things take a turn however when a mutiny occurs onboard and the ship's entire party, including Robert and Marianne, are made to start life anew on a remote island.

Featuring beloved songs like Softly, as in a Morning Sunrise, and Lover, Come Back to Me.

Two Valentine-themed one-act operettas that are sure to delight the romantic in all of us! Act I is Sweethearts, a comic play billed as a "dramatic contrast" in two short acts that tells a sentimental and ironic story of the differing recollections of a man and a woman about their last meeting together before being separated and reunited after 30 years.

Act II, The Zoo, is a farcical story that concerns two pairs of lovers. First, a nobleman who goes to the zoo to woo the girl who sells snacks there. He tries to impress her by buying & eating all of the food. The other couple includes a young chemist who believes that he has poisoned his beloved by mixing up her father's prescription with peppermint that he had meant for her.
Recommended for ages 12 & up.

Now give three cheers for the crew of the H.M.S. Pinafore! VLOC presents one of Gilbert and Sullivan's most popular and beloved operettas.

Josephine, daughter of the captain of the H.M.S. Pinafore, falls in love with a simple sailor Ralph Rackstraw. Her father, however, has already promised her hand to Sir Joseph Porter, First Lord of the Admiralty. Josephine is torn between her love for Ralph and her duty to her father. Can love truly "level all ranks"?

Packed to the brim with delightful tunes like When I Was A Lad, I'm Called Little Buttercup, Fair Moon To Thee I Sing, and more!
