A Maryland native, Scott has been performing in community theater across the DMV since childhood. The New Moon marks his second mainstage production with Victorian Lyric Opera following previous appearances as Strephon in 2022’s Iolanthe and VLOC’s 2019 children’s opera, Little Red’s Most Unusual Day at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. As a film and video editing hobbyist he frequently collaborates with companies on cutting-edge virtual theater, one which being VLOC’s 2021 production, A Gilbert and Sullivan Drawing Room. By day he works as VLOC's Director of Marketing and Development. His goal both on and off stage is to be a good steward of the operatic tradition; making sure the genre continues to thrive for generations to come.
