About the Sing Out

Victorian Lyric Opera Company will kick off its 45th Anniversary by giving Gilbert & Sullivan fans the opportunity to experience and sing through the complete musical scores of all thirteen of the intact operettas.

The Sing-Out honors the immortal operettas that were created in a partnership of the superb librettist, Sir William S. Gilbert, and brilliant composer, Sir Arthur Sullivan, and VLOC’s tradition of bringing these evergreen productions alive for its audience. It also celebrates the great American traditions of community and musical theater by inviting members of civic theater companies from around the country to come together to display their musical talent and experience.

Those participating can request to sing roles, conduct, or accompany and every best effort is made to honor requests. Those participating pay a registration fee which covers catered breakfasts and dinners over the course of the weekend.
