Cast interview: Bob Gudauskas

We have just over 2 weeks until The Mikado opens! We're all excited that the show is coming together so well, and we can't wait for you to see it! We're also excited for our next cast interview - please welcome Bob Gudauskas!

What is your role in The Mikado?
Pooh-Bah

What made you decide to get involved with Mikado?
I have to thank Maureen Roult for giving me the heads up about auditions. I couldn't be happier about taking on such a great and new experience.

What are you enjoying most about working on Mikado with VLOC?
It didn't take long to realize how quickly I felt welcomed. We joke around and have a good time, but take to our task diligently. It's always a pleasure to work with those who are giving you 100% during rehearsals, even when the urge to slack from the work day is great.

What is your dream role/job?
Max Bialystock - The Producers

What is the first musical/opera/play you ever saw and what effect did it have on you?
It must have been The Music Man.

When you're not performing in community theatre, what do you do? (job, hobby, family, etc.)
I currently work at the fantastic "The Children in the Shoe" child care centers as the IT guy. Hobbies? I'm a big hockey fan, though I'm still waiting for the Hartford Whalers to return.
