![]() Robin Hood opens this week! To celebrate, we have an interview with a creature that is probably the shiest member of our cast. Welcome Jane Doe! Please try not to scare her off... Name Jane Doe What's your role in Robin Hood? The Late Lamented Deer What's your favorite part of the show? My entrance in Act 2 with Robin Hood,. He's the hero of the play. (I really wanted to play Marian, but when they turned the lights on me, I froze.) Why is operetta important to you? Modern musical just don't have the opportunities for a talented young ruminant. I keep hoping that someone will write "Bambi, the Musical", but until then I feel it is important to spotlight the few opportunities deer have on stage. When you're not performing in community theatre, what do you do? (job, hobby, family, etc.) Most of the time you can find me hanging around in peoples yards and gardens, trimming their plants and shrubs. And at Christmas, I get to help people decorate their front lawns. Robin Hood opens in 3 days and tickets are going fast! Don't have yours yet? Call the F. Scott Fizgerald Theatre box office at 240-314-8690 or go online and get your tickets HERE. We'll see you at one of the shows!

Ha ha ha!!!!! Oh Jane -- Christie and I were sharing how impressed we were with your keeping your focus the entire show, and how wonderful it was to be with such an intense performer who is NOT A DIVA! We could all learn from your incredible performance skills, although you may be a doe, you do move like a gazelle! Again, Brava Dear (or should that be Doe?) One!!!

Never mind my mum, Jane, she's lost her marbles! Lay off the brown October ale, Mummy! Jane is NOT REAL! ......😳 oops, I didn't mean it. It's not easy to stay so completely in character ALL the time, and you killed it! I mean, oh deer.....

Eh, what was that? Truly a LOUD nothing -- Touche, Annabelle!!!! Oh Jane, deer -- don't mind her -- she's just being the pert minx, not the stately, elegant cervid that you epitomize! Don't evah change!!!
