We here at VLOC are getting excited because our next show, Sullivan and Grundy's Haddon Hall, opens one month from today! The cast, orchestra, and crew have been hard at work and can't wait to present this rarely performed operetta. We also have some exciting events to go along with our performances in February and March!
FREE pre-show guest lecture Haddon Hall's director, Catherine Huntress-Reeve, will be giving a pre-performance lecture on Saturday, February 28th at 7:00 pm at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theater. Come join us to learn more about the history of Haddon Hall and about VLOC's production. Please visit our Facebook event page here. FREE community outreach matinee Bring the kids for this one! VLOC will have all kinds of family-friendly activities before our matinee show on Sunday, March 1st, starting at 12:45 pm. We will have backstage tours available from 12:45 pm until 1:30 pm - come see the behind-the-scenes happenings of the show! You'll get to see the green room and dressing rooms where the cast gets ready, as well as the off-stage areas where set pieces and props are kept. There will be craft activities for children in the lobby, and we'll have a talk-back session with the cast and crew after the show. Please see the Facebook event page here. Concessions will be open during both events so you can have pre-show snacks and drinks, as well. We hope to see you at one (or both) of our events!
